Abstract

This article is part of the report of a master's thesis aiming at strengthening ideological and political work with young students belonging to a Faculty of Workers and Peasants Education in Holguín Municipality. It argued on the influence of activity and communication upon the formation of young people´s personality within the pedagogical environment carried out in the System of Youth and Adult Education (EDJA) by means of the inclusion of different activities which at the same time favored the acquisition of behaviors according to the Cuban Revolution’s principles. The acquisition of such behavior constitutes the main objective of the work. In assessing the objectives of the research, the author used these methods of educational research: synthesis-analysis, induction-deduction, and case study of pedagogical processes. The results yielded by the research have been reported in the territory and included in the Project Impact of Research in Educational Transformations in EDJA. It includes actions to be developed for educational work in schools for adult education, taking into account the categories worked out in the formation of personality as a whole.
