Abstract

The objective of the research work was to approach, from a comparative perspective, the magnitudes of the public policy of inclusion in university education that is developed in the countries that take part in the Bolivarian Alternative for America (ALBA). The analysis was carried out on experiences that have taken place in Cuba, Bolivia and Venezuela, based upon the consideration of their own samenesses and differential features in their social structures and systems of university education. In the development of this research work the authors made use of different materials and methods such as: the study of documents, synthesis-analysis, and induction-deduction, which allowed the systematization of the concept ¨inclusion¨ and its relation with the educative context in each country studied and their corresponding government policies. The main outcome was derived from a comparative result carried out, which permitted an understanding of the meaning of ALBA, taking the term ¨inclusion¨ as public policy in university education.
