La Holguín Literature: Research and School Implementation
Abstract
The present article deals with aspects concerning the research about literature produced in Holguín and its further implementation in the teaching of different levels. It summarizes the different stages in the study if this literature, since the times when research about it was nonexistent neither the inclusion of local authors in the Cuban Literature syllabi. Then is describes the developments of a systematic research process on the issue which has brought about the adequate insertion of Holguín literature in the various syllabi of the different educational levels throughout the province, starting in the elementary school and gradually ranging up to the higher education.
