Abstract

This article is the result of a diagnosis applied to the professional training process in students to be skilled workers from Holguín. It is based on scientific research methods such as: the observation, interview, survey, and analysis of documents. This diagnosis showed lack of methodological preparation in professors and tutors when directing the professional training. In order to minimize the impact of this problem the following objective was stated: the systematization of projects as a way of scientific and methodological knowledge acquisition. In relation to this objective, in the development of the research, some theoretical considerations were presented on the professional training in skilled workers through projects, by recognizing this as a way of organizing the process of training such workers. After inserting two projects, one in every academic year, encouraging results were obtained in relation to the initial results shown by the diagnosis. The methodological preparation in professors and tutors was superior and it was demonstrated on the application of productive and creative teaching methods from the teaching of subjects that constitute every curriculum in different professions.
