Abstract

Taking into account the different ideas of some definitions stated by many authors concerning violence, the article offers a very useful approach to teachers and professors who really strive to make of their daily work an important contribution to create the basis of a more sane society, where tolerance, respect for the other, solidarity and fraternity turn into steady and strong barriers before violence behavioural manifestations in the school context. The author also makes valuable reflections on the different forms of violence so as to design, put into practice and evaluate the results of integrating actions aimed at transforming the school context into a promoting place of better interpersonal relations among students according to the demands of contemporary society.
