Methodological and theoretical foundations that sustain the professional formation of the specialized technician in Agronomy

The reference work was aimed at finding a foundation —from the theoretical and methodological point of view— for the professional formation of the specialized technician in Agronomy, starting from the economic, ecological and social principles that determine the achievement of a solid agricultural professional culture. Thus, different methods of the scientific level were used, including those from the theoretical and empiric levels. On that base, a historical analysis of the labor practice was included, with emphasis in the apprenticeship, as a necessary process to consolidate the formation of a solid agricultural professional culture in the in–training specialized technicians in Agronomy. It was obtained, as a result, a valuable consultation material for the professors of the polytechnic school and the tutors of the related productive entities to contribute to the formative work, consonant to the demands of the nowadays Cuban society, with emphasis in the transformations that are being applied in the Technical and Professional Agricultural Education, related to those that are being operated in the process of agricultural production as a consequence of the current economic and social politics of the Cuban state.
