Historical backgrounds of the civic education in the professional training in Cuba

Abstract

The backgrounds that conditioned the civics of the professional training in Cuba were examined in this article, taking into account its connotation as a nucleus of the civic education. This process goes back to the origins that allowed forging the constitutive elements of the formation and development of Cuban nationality, besides the self-defining civic values that singularize the Cuban citizenship model. The following scientific methods were applied: analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction. The fundamental objective of this article involved revealing the singularities of the civic education in the formation of successive generations of Cubans, which assumed in a consequent way the necessity to lead the professional training towards the social transformation in Cuba.
