Abstract

The article deals with agricultural education in terms of animal food production of the veterinary zoo-technical student. The objective was to develop a strategy for agricultural education in the production and preservation of animal food. The strategy considers the social and professional character of this process. It has four stages with their corresponding actions, which, once implemented in educational practice, will help in the formation of the student. The pertinence of the strategy was corroborated with the application of a pedagogical pre-experiment. The reality under experiment was transformed during the exploratory stage of the research, thus the results obtained give validity to the proposal.
