Working procedures with social historical sources of knowledge

An analysis of the teaching of social sciences in the pedagogical higher education revealed as difficulty, that the sources of knowledge are mainly limited to written texts, ignoring the use of others, as well as the lack of the necessary procedures for working with them. That´s why the work had as objective the elaboration of a proposal of procedures to work with the knowledge sources of the social sciences in the initial formation of the pedagogical professional. For that reason, methodological written papers were consulted, likewise the professional model, syllabus and the disciplines preparation. Different methods were also used: the analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, survey, interview, observation, documentary revision and the consultation to specialists; what made possible a proposal of procedures to work with the social historical sources.
