Abstract

The present article is the product of a research developed by the authors, whose origin was in a regional project with the purpose of improving the training process of the director of the educational center, as the main aspect of working with educational executives. Its objective pointed toward the analysis of the historical background of the direction of the training process of the school principal in the Cuban context. The different methods used were the following: historical – logical, analysis – synthesis, as well as the inductive – deductive. The illustrated result was part of the conception which helped to improve the management of that process with the consequent positive effect on the performance of these directors.
