Abstract

The Subsystem of Technical and Professional Education is in charge of the efficient preparation of both, the workers who carry out the agricultural production process, and the professors-to-be, who will meet and satisfy the new challenges in the Polytechnic Institutes of Agriculture. The present investigation worked out the problem: integrating the history of agricultural techniques to agricultural present subjects in this subsystem of education, with the objective of achieving technical professional and pedagogical abilities, based on a teaching which favors reading, inquiring and debating while the formation process of professional of this subsystem of education is being developed. This work assumed the integration of agricultural contents as a way to solve the problem; which was exemplified by means of the subject Phytology of Cultivation.
