LOS NIVELES DE VAN HIELE Y LA TAXONOMÍA SOLO: UN ANÁLISIS DE LAS MONTAÑAS HOLGUINERAS
Abstract
One of the steps to help teachers understand the difficulties presented by students in the lesson of Geometry is the Van Hiele Model. In it, the evolution of Geometry as well as the way of reasoning of the students are describle. Such model also gives teachers ways to organice their lessons with the objective of obtaining an effective development of the students. Some investigations have reached good results in the understanding of the learning of the students based on comparative studies between the Van Hiele levels and the SOLO taxonomy, since macroscopic and microscopic aspects of learning are analyzed.
In the present work, the results of an investigation related to the study of the reasoning of students in the lessons of Geometry. Such work covered students from mountain areas of the province of Holguin. The investigation implied the application of four items to each student, form the sample taken, and the evaluation of their answers according to the criteria of the models mentioned above.
