Abstract

At the University of Holguín, responding to the problem of ICT integration, a research project was created on: Development of ICT competencies in teacher training and as part of its tasks the faculty of the Bachelor of Biology was prepared. In the work a brief explanation of the concept of Strategy, Learning Strategy and ICT Learning Strategy is presented. An example of a WebQuest carried out in the discipline of Genetics with students in the 4th year of the degree is exposed. The application of ICT learning strategies has fostered the motivation of both teachers and students, the former to prepare based on the use of ICT and its integration into the respective disciplines and the latter see it in a more enjoyable way and using their own codes appropriation of the contents of the curriculum.
