The spinel in the city of parks
Keywords:
Holguin, spinel, El Indio Naborí, El CucalambéAbstract
The authors of this article departed from the peninsular origins of the spinel and in the same way they synthesized its development till it reached the Cuban soil from the old Easter region of Cuba up to Holguín city. They highlighted the beginning of the spinel inspired by Espinel in the distant XVI century as well as his conquering voyage toward the New World along with the Admiral. This stanza is first leaded by the loving care of El Cucalambé and next by El Indio Naborí; and then they stop in “The Cuban City of Parks”, where young poets get inspired to make a new spinel improve: the already tenth Cuban spinel.
