The pedagogical professional formation of the student from Informatics and Professional Education Major

The aim of the paper is to show the current status of the pedagogical and professional formation of the student from Informatics and Professional Education Major, based on the professional pedagogical activity of teaching and learning, and its relationship with professional skills. It is the result of scientific research (Doctoral Thesis) developed at the University of Pedagogical Sciences "José de la Luz y Caballero." For this study, the following empirical methods of scientific research were used: Surveys, document analysis: professional model, curriculum, analysis of the programs of disciplines and subjects, methodological work plans of departments and disciplines, educational strategies of each year, as well as scientific observation. The result showed weaknesses in pedagogical and professional formation of the students from Informatics and Professional Education Major, limiting the exercise of pedagogical professional activity of direction of the teaching-learning process.
