Science and Patriotism: Ethics and Values in the Cuban Ideological Mosaic

As a result of both authors researching on the matter, this paper aimed to provide arguments on the presence of science, patriotism, ethics and values in the Cuban ideological mosaic. The objective was to prove theoretically that science and patriotism have been part and parcel of the Cuban social thought, from a perspective of total surrendering to the interests of the people. The theoretical methods used were the historico-logical, analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and documentary study. The work done arose an awareness by professors and specialists on the issues dealt with. Also, a theoretical corpus was offered on the values found in the feeling and attitude of the men and women who have used their science for the benefit of the Homeland.
