The organization of the speech therapy attention in the primary level of education

This article dealt with special features of the speech therapy attention offered by the speech therapist to students having communication alteration, aiming at the determination of theoretical and methodological tools that support such attention in the educational field as well as the relations that take place in the attention of this process in the primary level of education. Difficulties were revealed in the theoretical field, as well as in the speech therapy practice. Essential elements that support the aforementioned attention in the primary level were contributed, obtained from the application of empirical methods such as observation, interview and survey of the study case and the study of documents related to the topic. Theoretical methods were also applied: historical-logical methods, induction-deduction, analysis-synthesis, systemic-structural and functional methods. According to the study developed, it can be said that the foundations of speech therapy attention in the educative field were revealed in order to explain how this therapy work is carried out in the pedagogical process in the primary level of education.
