El The development of qualities of the personality in the in-training professionals in the Education degree course, in the specialty of Mechanics

Abstract

The presented result comes from an investigation developed in option to the scientific degree of Doctor in Pedagogical Sciences. A diagnosis applied to the students’ initial formation, in the Education degree course, in the specialty of Mechanics allows us to recognize insufficiencies in the development of the qualities of the personality that the professional’s model contains. To minimize the effect of these insufficiencies a methodological procedure for the development of qualities of the personality in the in-training professionals in the Education degree course, in the specialty of Mechanics in Holguín Province is elaborated. These results are supported in the theoretical foundation of the labor formation to young people of the Study Center for the Labor Formation. The reached results from the application of the methodological procedure through the experts’ criteria, methodological workshops, and the realization of a pedagogical pre-experiment, demonstrated that this methodological procedure contributes to the fulfillment of the general objectives contained in the professional’s model in the Education degree course, in the specialty of Mechanics.
