Abstract

This article was aimed at showing the historical development of the pedagogical and professional formation process of the student majoring in Informatics and Professional Education, based on the professional pedagogical activity of the teaching-learning process. It is the result of a scientific research developed at the University of Pedagogical Sciences "José de la Luz y Caballero". For this study, empirical and theoretical methods of the scientific research were used such as: surveys, interviews, analysis of methodological documents of the educational process, analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and the historico-logical. The result obtained permitted to show as a tendency that the pedagogical and professional formation of the students, as well as the pedagogical and professional activity and the skills, as one of its essential components, have presented insufficiencies limiting the performance assigned in the society.
