Health education of the Agronomy specialty students

The article aims at presenting the theoretical and methodological foundations of the health education treatment in the students of Agriculture. It was based on the analysis of the historical background of health education before and after the triumph of the Revolution. It also includes health categories and factors, and a deal with theoretical conceptions given by different authors about health education, with an emphasis on this speciality. Scientific methods were applied, as well as the consultation of regulations and documents issued by the Ministry of Education. This allowed shaping the structure, coherence and projection of the topic. The article is part of the results of a research project sponsored by the Faculty of Technical Sciences, and is also a useful material for professors who endeavour to find solutions to the problems detected in their professional context. The proposal is then, a complement to enrich the pedagogical efforts.
