La narrativa para niños en Holguín

Abstract

In his work, the author outlines a brief historical panorama of the development of the narrative for children in Holguin territory, from1959, year of the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, up to 2004. The aesthetic value of the works under study is heightened from a socio-critical perspective, works that have not only been prize winners, but also form part of the national and international cultural store. The most outstanding writers of this genre are Luis Caissses Sanchez, Magalys Sanchez Ochoa Y Ronel Gonzalez Sanchez who have been included in anthologies and catalogues from Cuba and from the IBBY.
