Abstract

Speech therapy provides knowledge and professional skills for the comprehensive care process for children with communication and language disorders, as well as the evaluation and diagnosis of those peculiar states of development of different subjects that affect communication. It 

is approached that for the understanding of the communication of the school with hearing deficit one must start from the analysis of deafness from anatomophysiological assumptions, which analyzes hearing loss as a disorder. 

The curricular study carried out from the Speech Therapy subject of the "E" study plan, the use of class observation, the revision of normative documents and the theoretical analysis, allow to conclude its potentialities for the training of the speech therapist teacher. The article connotes the scientific updating of the content that resizes comprehensive speech therapy care for the communication of these schoolchildren.
