The characterization of socio-educational contexts for the professional development of future educational psychologists

This article is the result of the research carried out as part of the Project "The training of students in educational psychology towards the local transformation of the Holguín territory". It contains theoretical elements that express the value of educational psychology characterization in the training of the Bachelor of Education Pedagogy-Psychology. The objective was to characterize the socio-educational context linked to Lidia Esther Doce Sánchez High School. For this, theoretical research methods such as, analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction, historical-logical and document review were used. Empirical methods such as, interviews and observation that allowed obtaining the results expressed in the article, were also used. The relevant connection between the educational contexts that have an impact on the training of the personality of the characterized student was verified.
