Aesthetic categories and function of the literature in the pedagogical reception context of the text

The objective of the present article was to expose some theoretical conceptions that sustain the process of the reception of the literary text, starting from the assimilation of the aesthetic categories and the functions of the literature, so that the teachers conceive the study of the literary work from a new perspective of the aesthetic education during the pedagogical process. The referred conceptions were accompanied by the authors' critical valuations from the current criteria of knowledge in a construction and transformation process, in correspondence to the challenges of the technological advances and the cultural processes. The text was characterized by its theoretical character and it required the use of the following methods: the analysis-synthesis and the induction-deduction. Its contribution was constituted, essentially, by the critique about the topic and the derived theoretical regularities from its analysis.
