Luz y Caballero: dimensions politics and philosophical of the concept it fights in their social thought

Abstract

In this article are analyzed the resulting aspects of the study of the fight concept, from the politics and philosophical dimensions, with emphasis in the ethical and aesthetics social thought in the illustrious educator and Cuban philosopher of the first half of the XIX century José de la Luz y Caballero. The main objective of the article was aimed at the analysis of the fight concept as a theoretical core that contributes a new perspective for the interpretation of the significance of his work, in the more advanced Cuban social thought context of the XIX century. The author also stands out the marked commitment of the teacher of the El Salvador with the national culture formation process. The authors also highlights that the supreme purpose of the famous thinker's social work was, to forge in the Cuban people a high sense of the duty and the responsibility to achieve the material and spiritual prosperity of the country.
