La Preparation of Directors to the Manage the Basic Teaching Units in Puerto Ayacucho Using Computers

Abstract

The objective of this work consisted in valuing the importance of the use of the computer, as a teaching media and as a work tool in school management. The authors tell apart the meaning of the following concepts, which are commonly treated as synonymous: training, education, continuous education and training. The Theoretical Research Methods in Education used were, mainly, those of analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction. The authors arrived to the conclusion that the use of computers constituted a need of paramount importance in heightening the management skills of directors who worked for the Basic Educational Units in Puerto Ayacucho. This preparation could be achieved through the harmonic and progressive combination of actions directed to the training, education and qualification of such sectors of directors.
