La Educational Advisory in Amazonas: Historical Antecedents and Legal Foundations

Abstract

The objective of the present work consisted in the presentation of historical antecedents of educational advisory in the Amazons State, Venezuela, combining them with the legal foundations that sustained this process. The Research Methods of Education used in the methodological triangulation to obtain information were, mainly, the historical-logical, that of analysis-synthesis and induction-deduction. The development of the educational system in Venezuela and specifically in the AmazonsState, outlined new challenges to in advising, which went through different stages, evolving in their purposes, this going from inspection and control, up to orientation and advising. Educational advisory in this State was exercised by important personalities of the country that contributed to its development and territorial reorganization. The current organization offered possibilities to assist the particularities of the different educational levels and indigenous towns in the referred State, through supervision, to which contributed the preparation that educationists reached in performing their duties and responsibilities in that state.
