Abstract

The following article made reference to the first Poetic generation of the Cuban Revolution; which intention was to show diverse concepts of generation revealed by the national letters´ personalities. It is mentioned the generational phenomenon in the Cuban literature and it is also explained essential features of the 50´s generation or first poetic generation of the revolution. In the development of the research different methods were used with a triangulate character; they were essential to the better understanding of the treated matter. The analysis of the present topic allowed arriving at certain considerations: make adolescents and the young get familiar with the first poetic generation of the revolution, through its distinguishing features, can favor the formation of that generation consciousness in them.
