Some considerations about the poetic text Sin endiosar la luz, by Alberto Rocasolano

Abstract

The following article is based on the last book of poetry written by Alberto Rocasolano Sin endiosar la luz. The main purpose of this book was centered in revealing all the things he has been concerned after 45 years of having published his first poetic text. This important and outstanding writer was born in Bijarú, Holguín province. He has been considered at the moment an important personality in Cuba and in the world. In the investigation diverse methods were used. Such methods were essential to understand Rocasolano’s work. The study of the text made possible to arrive to certain considerations about his work, such as: love, love for the city, the spirituality and the poetry emerge in each verse to guide the reader towards a full book of voluptuousness and of an undeniable diaphaneity. Many of his poems are of a autobiographical character; and most of them are extensive. The novelty of his work lies in the novécimas and some poetic compositions written in prose.
