Abstract

The development of the students’ learning autonomy is an essential objective in their training processes and determines the intellectual levels they achieve. The premises stated before justify the elaboration of the proposal that focuses on the teaching task as the core of the independent work. Besides, interdisciplinarity is accounted as an indispensable condition for the comprehensive treatment of the contents. The study started with the consultation of different bibliographical sources on the matter using research methods such as: analysis-synthesis, induction-deduction and abstract-concrete. Likewise, it was necessary to make use of scientific observation, survey, interview and document review. These methods made the characterization of the research object possible. The analyses carried out allowed the examination of theoretical aspects related to the topic of study in the conceptions of developing learning and the presentation of teaching tasks for the English teacher training.
