The work with the gender approach based on the reading of works of the Spanish literature

Abstract

The article highlighted the importance of reading as a way to work on the gender approach, based on the works of Spanish literature that promote it. Based on the problematic situations detected in the educational practice, related to the internalization and application of the conceptions of the gender approach and the review of bibliographic materials, a pedagogical strategy was developed according to the needs, interests and professional potential of the students. The implementation of the actions contained in the strategy made it possible to observe a progress in the performance of the students: greater motivation for the reading activity; knowing the potentialities of Spanish literature to work on the gender approach. For its implementation, empirical and theoretical scientific methods were used that allowed to know the feasibility of the pedagogical strategy and increase the knowledge of the subject by the students.
