The educational advisor as the main guide in the educative community

Abstract

This research emphasizes the role of a pedagogical counselor that corresponds to the educational advisory in order to achieve greater and better results in the quality of education from the Ministry of education. The education system in Ecuador over the last decade has generated positive changes aimed at improving the quality of education, so now it is implementing the culture of evaluation, which will not only involve students; but it will also evaluate teachers´ performance as well as administrative management of the directors as a process of accountability, fulfilling one of the policies of the ten-year Plan, which allows to have a more comprehensive and objective of the Ecuadorian educational reality approach. This research has used the analysis as synthesis as bibliographic research, as well as induccion-deduccion methods. As a result, a system of values as the basis for the exercise of administrative and teaching, horizontal, animator and Enhancer leadership was implemented.
