Procedures to Develop the Historical Culture in the Students Majoring in Marxism-Leninism and History

This work is part of the research project “Comprehensive Formation of the teachers-to-be of Marxism-Leninism and History”. It aims at the improvement of the theoretical, methodological and content work in the formation of a historical culture from the History of Cuba teaching-learning process at the Pedagogical University “José de la Luz y Caballero”. The historical – logical method was applied to analyze the tendency of the teaching – learning process within the current syllabus of the specialty, supported by theoretical and empirical methods. It offers teachers a set of procedures to favor the understanding of the historical processes from an epistemological approach with a comprehensive view in the construction of the historical knowledge. The impact is reflected on the improvement of the teaching and methodological work in the formation of a historical culture in the professional of education. The proposal was implemented in the Vocational and Technical Education, and it is being applied in the Marxism-Leninism and History specialty.
