The avant-gardism in the poetry of Manuel Navarro Luna

Abstract

Manuel Navarro Luna has trailed a wide and important literary work that has gone through different stages. In the article at hand, the elements at advance in Manuel Navarro Luna’s poetry have been valued particularly in the book Surco a piece of literature that has reached a status in the Cuban literature and does away with the author’s intimate poetry. The work in view tilts its development towards the analysis and critics, as a research method, which allows the study of primary and complementary sources that match with the author’s production. As procedures of general methods, of logical thought, the analysis – synthesis, the induction – deduction, from abstract to concrete, and the historical and logical ones were used.
