The teacher’s preparation in the plastic production of the fourth term in kindergarten

The conditions of education in Cuba have generated needs related to preparing teachers. That’s why in this article, the teachers that are closely related to preschoolers were analyzed. Taking into account what was previously mentioned, this study aims to reveal an alternative for the preparation of teachers in the artistic production of the fourth cycle of the kindergarten “Pequeños Pineritos” from Mayarí, through the development of methodological workshops. This is of relevant importance because at the workshops different suggestions were offered on how to use the methods and procedures suitable for plastic production activities, specific skills and methodologies for the treatment of art techniques; taking into account the teachers’ needs. Theoretical methods were used to determine the essence of the problem, such as the analysis-synthesis and the induction-deduction one, as well as empirical ones like the interview and the direct observation. Along with the implementation of the methodological workshops positive results were obtained, due to the teachers achieved more preparation in using methods and procedures in plastic production activities, specific skills, as well as the methodological approach to the enforcement work, construction and different plastic techniques.
