Luz on the genesis and development of the ideas as epistemic essences of the human knowledge
Abstract
This article deals with an important dimension of the gnoseology of the Cuban philosopher José de la Luz y Caballero. The objective was directed to the determination of the content of its conception about the genesis and development of the ideas as epistemic essences of the human knowledge. The article offers the reader significant reflections about the historical trajectory of the conceptual enrichment of Luz’s ideology. The authors highlight that Luz developed his critic to innatism and apriority from a solid materialistic positioning, supported in a penetrating dialectical vision of the knowledge that led him to reveal that in the source of the ideas resides in the human sensibility and that the external reality constitutes the source of knowledge, denying the existence of innate ideas. The investigation demanded the application of methods according to the characteristics of the topic, being prioritized the work with the gathered sources whose data were generalized by means of the logical procedures of the scientific knowledge. The authors selected the work materials, in correspondence with the demands of the research process.
