Abstract

In this article some alternatives are proposed to motivate the study of the life and work of José Martí in order to offer wider vision of his mastery. It is intended to ease the use of his volume of letters to promote commotion as a result of a non-conventional approach towards his personality, in which he is seen above all as the man he reaily was, who tought not only of Philosophy and Literature, but also what friendship was, how to love life, how to assume family wanties, how much a man is denoted to humanity, and how little he is denoted to himself.
