Abstract

The present paper deepened on the study of the syllabi of the subjects related to Physics, for the Bachelor in Education on the Specialty of Mathematics-Physics, plan “D”, at the University of Pedagogical Sciences “José de la Luz y Caballero”. It was aimed at diagnosing the presence of the Information Technology in the specialty as well as how it is included the curricular strategy of informatics in such disciplines. This will be useful for getting information as a point of departure to sustain the necessary changes for training the future professional in education. The results were obtained through the use of different empirical methods such as surveys, analysis of official documents, validation of the curriculum, and interviews to different principals, heads of department and professors directly teaching the disciplines mentioned before, which allowed confirming the results obtained.
