Editorial
Abstract
The XIIIth year of Luz comes to an end along with significant achievements: certified this year as a Scientific Periodical Publication with the code 1545814, by the Cuban Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment (CITMA by its acronym in Spanish); registered in the National Websites Record from the Direction of Periodical Publications with the number A0914; and confirmed its inscription in the National Registering Office of Periodical Publications (RNPS by its acronym in Spanish). Likewise, included in new databases: CubaEduca (Cuban Educative Portal) and MIAR, besides Latindex and RNPS in previous years. Similarly, it issued its four numbers: 55-58, for a total of 40 articles, plus one in the special module “José de la Luz y Caballero”.
What does this edition 58 bring?
New and diverse contributions by a large group of professionals from various higher educational academic institutions:
First, we can find the reciprocal inhibiting effect between habits, its influence in the formation of professional skills as well as the possibilities of reducing or avoiding its negative consequences. Then, special features of the speech therapy attention offered by the speech therapist to students having communication alterations. Next, in this same order, contributions in relation to the dimensions of the environmental education in the initial formation of professors of the mechanical specialties; it also references to the first poetic generation of the revolution in the Cuban literature to show diverse concepts of generation, revealed by personalities of the national letters; as well as theoretical and practical opinions on the teaching-learning of English in junior high school.
Immediately afterward, contributions from researchers on methodological actions to achieve legal education and tax culture on students from the Bachelor in Education, majoring in Economics; also, regularities of the direction of the professional approach in the initial formation of the Bachelor of Primary Education; different variants to exploit the music repertoire, in the discipline Choral Conducting, in the specialty of Bachelor in Education: Art Instructors; the elaboration of a proposal of procedures to work with the knowledge sources of the social sciences in the initial formation of the pedagogical professional; and the situation of the optional and recreational sport in the pedagogical professional training , in addition to its influence on the formation of the essential teaching skills.
A very particular module of Luz invites to read the article “Identity projection of the aesthetic thought of José de la Luz y Caballero”, which objective consisted on revealing the determinations and specificities of the identity projection of the aesthetical ideal of Luz, which revolutionary nature contributed to the origin of an autochthonous culture, from which the Cuban identity was born when the historical conditions permitted it.
