Abstract

The subject History of Cuba in the elementary school does not yet use all the potentialities of the local cultural heritage in the integral formation of the students, in correspondence to the demands of the current transformations in this educational level. This situation arises due to inadequacies in the teaching – learning process that considers history as a sum of events and personalities far from their contexts and interests. The creation of this multimedia contributed to the better preparation of the teacher when teaching this subject and inserts this information in the lessons of History of Cuba, stimulating also the development of new knowledge and the abilities and capacities of the students, thus achieving a developing learning.
