Abstract

The era of the Society of the Knowledge, supported by the Techniques of Information and Communications (TICs), has brought about changes in all spheres of human activity. Their results have had great influence in working activities as well educational institutions. The latter should assume the change of the formative process on the basis of the elementary competitions that teachers need to learn and teach to learn with the TICs. In the process of universalization of the pedagogic careers, particularly in the specialty of Computer Science in Holguín Province, it has been necessary to increase the scientific-methodological work with the objective of favoring the students´ learning through the use of computation, as a component of the TICs. The present work has as a main objective to characterize the different forms of application of informatics in diverse parts of the world for the creation of learning environments. It also suggests teachers which applications to use according to the technological resources that are available to them.
