This research implemented a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) based on students' learning styles to improve the teaching-learning process in the Basic Mathematics course of the Mechatronics Engineering program at the Escuela Tecnológica Instituto Técnico Central. Historical antecedents of VLE use were determined, theoretical foundations were systematized, and students' mathematical knowledge was assessed using the CHAEA learning styles test. The proposal was validated using methods such as user criteria, triangulation, and statistical tests like the Mann-Whitney U and Student's T-Test. The results showed a significant improvement in students' academic performance, demonstrating the effectiveness of the VLE in teaching Mathematics.
