Abstract

This article presents a mapping and analysis of the main cooperation networks in Latin America and the Caribbean focused on the educational inclusion of people with disabilities. Through a qualitative and descriptive approach, governmental and non-governmental networks, as well as observatories and academic initiatives that promote actions aimed at guaranteeing rights and educational inclusion, were identified. The study highlights the contributions of these networks in promoting inclusive public policies, social awareness, and strengthening good practices. However, challenges such as a lack of accessibility, outdated information, and the absence of networks dedicated to scientific research on the subject still limit their impact. Finally, the work highlights the importance of strengthening regional and international partnerships, innovating communication, and fostering the creation of scientific research networks to build an equitable and inclusive education system.
