Socio-historical context of the emergence of the Baptist movement in Europe and its arrival in America

This article offering an approach to the surging of one of the more important movements within the Protestantism of great impact and in Cuba because of endings of the century. It is proposed examining the social and historic roots of the surging of the churches baptists in Europe and his arrival to America. This analysis is produced through an exhaustive bibliographic study, triangulation of facts and historic affirmations and elaboration of findings from interdisciplinary perspectives beyond the historic sciences. They have consulted authors of several tendencies, and you did not sole historians but sociologists and philosophers, in order to offer a description of the process historic member more complete and achieving the best understanding for part of the readers. Understanding the essence and contents of the movement the baptist allows interpreting of adequate way the interaction church baptist and society Cuban to I deliver it of over one hundred years.
