Civism, freedom and pedagogy at Air University (1949-1952)

This article approaches the relating problems to the topics about the civism and the freedom from the pedagogy and the political tendencies in one of the educational spaces and of more important thought in our country during the bourgeois Republic: the magazine University of the Air, in the period understood among 1949-1952. When consulting the diverse historical documents that keep the legacy of this publication, in form of radial conferences you can appreciate the deep attachment to the national culture and the Cuban sovereignty of their main intellectuals. The objective of the article is to analyze the main manifestations of the civic, liberal and political currents that moved the thought of the time.
