Estrategy of scientific disclosure management for local development oriented to university professors
Abstract
In Cuba, universities have a great commitment to society, consisting in the generation and communication of scientific and technological results that contribute to their sustainable development. However, in the Municipal University Centers it is still insufficient the disclosure of their scientific-technological results in function of the promotion of local development. The objective of the present work was the elaboration of a strategy of scientific disclosure management for the local development, oriented to professors of Cuban Municipal University Centers. In that sense, the systemic-structural-functional method was used to guarantee its systemic qualities, the descriptive statistics to design an instrument for its evaluation and the participant observation to discern the qualitative transformations experimented in cloister of professors. The alluded strategy was obtained as a result, and was applied in the Municipal University Center Contramaestre, Universidad de Oriente. It was concluded that application of strategy increases the effectiveness of the actions of scientific disclosure to favor of local development, which suggests its possible use in other contexts to perfect the aforementioned management.
