Holguin children´s literature and plastic arts: A proposal for the eighth grade

Abstract

This article presents results of the overcoming project “History of the artistic literary culture in the territory”, addressed by Messeguer (2004 - 2008) along with the continuity of others in the new investigative project “Literature and arts in Holguin from the triumph of the Revolution”, directed by Toledo (2009) and Infante (2010 - 2012), that stated as objective the introduction of the Holguin literature devoted to children and the young in the Spanish – Literature syllabus in the  Junior High Education. It illustrated the results in the eighth grade. Among others, were applied the historical – logical method, the systemic – integral and the depth qualitative interview. The obtained results were presented in International congresses: Pedagogy ´97” and “Reading 2003 ´To read the XXI´”; the “National and international encounters of criticism and investigation of children´s literature” and the “Children literature Chair” of the University of Pedagogical Sciences in Sancti Spiritus; as well as the provincial event Pedagogy´ 2011; among others. With the introduction in the praxis in the Faculty of Junior High School comprehensive teachers, it helped the interdisciplinarity, the development of reading habits and love towards cultural backgrounds; which demonstrated its effectiveness.
