Epistemological foundations of the conceptual nodes in the disciplines of History

Abstract

This article makes an analysis of the epistemological foundations that sustain the conceptual nodes in the disciplines of History. The work with the concepts is an arduous process of scientific investigation, it is the concentration of all the latest and advanced knowledge that human thought has accumulated on a given problem. The foregoing presupposes that the in-training professional needs to master those concepts that allow generalizing thinking on the analysis of universal, national and local processes: only in this way they will be able to find the links and relationships between the facts and processes, and this determines that learning History becomes a conscious task. The conceptual nodes of the disciplines of History are those concepts that, due to their content, nature, and universal historical development, have the power to interrelate in a synthesized way the contents of the disciplines of History. This author assumes the interdisciplinary relations as a guiding principle for the development of the teaching-learning process of the referred nodes.
