La enseñanza del karate-do, una alternativa en la educación médica superior
Abstract
The article presents a syllabus to teach karate-do in Higher Medical Education. It stresses its importance for the general formation of the students of this specialty, with a cross-disciplinary view, relating elements of martial arts and physical exercises with other subjects, such as Morphology, Biochemestry, etc. This syllabus facilitates the development of sports and physical education in higher medical education, and can be implemented by teachers of any of the karate-do styles practiced in Cuba.
