Evolution of economic education in the formation of the graduate in Mathematics Education.

The article addresses the results of an investigation that evaluated the evolution of economic education, from the beginning of the training of the Mathematics Education professional, in 1964, and until the implementation of the E study plan, in 2016. The use of methods of scientific research, such as the revision of the curricula for the formation of the graduate in Mathematics Education, the consultation of bibliographical sources that address the behavior of economic education in Cuba, and the interviews with personal sources that participated in the training, and others, which were formed through the different curricula, allowed to determine generalizing syntheses that demarcate the main tendencies and limitations in the historical evolution. These serve as theoretical references for the diagnosis of the current state of their development, with a view to professionalizing this process in the degree program in Mathematics Education of the University of Holguin.
